E's 8th Birthday

Everyone had such a great time at E's birthday in August.  Papa and Nona were here from Arkansas and so that was an added blessing.  Enjoy the slideshow!

J's Manhood Slideshow

I am finally getting caught up on a couple of very overdue slideshows.  Here is J's manhood/knighthood celebration from July.  It was really a meaningful time.

12 weeks!

I am 12 weeks pregnant!  The verse that comes to mind is from 1 Samuel "Hitherto hath the Lord helped us!".  After the miscarriages I have had, I do not take for granted that the Lord has taken me through the first trimester.  To Him alone be the glory!

Happy Birthday!

A big Happy Birthday to my Dad and Brother today!  My brother was born on my Dad's 40th birthday 22 years ago!  But, I won't tell you how my dad is.  :)

Restwood

Welcome to our new blog!  In my post Clarity of Vision I explained the new direction the Lord had taken us in pursuing the purchase of the home we now live in.  My husband has named our place Restwood. Why Restwood? In my dh word's we hope our little corner of the world will be..."chiefly a place of rest given to us and to the saints from Christ alone, rest for our bodies but more importantly a secure rest for our souls in a world of trouble."  So welcome, our family and friends, to a place called...Restwood.
